As a small business owner, it’s important to give back to the community however possible. Whether you sponsor water drives, volunteer for youth events, or support a charity through donating your products or services, it’s important to be a vital part of your community. Strategic Marketing Services volunteers in the community through several efforts, and is proud to participate in the Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s All Hands on Deck Volunteer event this Saturday, October 7th.

all hands on deckThe All Hands on Deck Volunteer event is from 8am until 12 noon, and everyone is welcomed to join!  There will be several different activities for volunteers to do including gardening, painting, campus clean up, kitchen cleanup, light maintenance work and much more! Lunch will be served afterwards to all volunteers.

In the process of mentoring small businesses, they help them sort out their real priorities and let go of issues which have been holding them back in their business.

AJ’s Best Friends

AJ’s Best Friends Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit companion animal rescue organization working in the East Valley suburbs of Phoenix, AZ (Arizona). Their primary focus is on rescuing Purebred cats and small Purebred or mixed breed dogs destined to be euthanized in the area shelters or in other dangerous, life-threatening situations.

Save the Family Foundation

Save the Family was founded in 1988 in response to the need for a comprehensive community service dedicated to assisting homeless families with children transition to self-sufficiency. They help children in homeless families by treating the whole family with programs to break the negative cycles of poverty, abuse, and homelessness.

Gabriel’s Angels

Gabriel’s Angels is the only program in Arizona that delivers healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children. Their goals are to instill in children an overall emotional sense of well-being, safety and happiness, and to help them to learn social skills that will prevent them from continuing the cycle of violence as adults.
