Ready to start using videos in your marketing? It’s important to host them on an optimized & branded channel of your own. This is 1 of 3 videos to teach you how to set up an optimized YouTube channel.

In this video, you’re going to learn about the graphics you’ll need to complete your channel and look serious in the eyes of YouTube.

First your profile picture. This should be a 600 X 600 picture of yourself or a logo that you use across all social media.

Next is your background image. This is a 2460 X 1440 image; however you want to make sure to design it in a way that it will work on a TV, desktop, and mobile device. So all important information should be placed dead center of the graphic.

Last, you’ll want to have a 300 X 300 transparent .png file of your logo, or a message to tell people to subscribe. This graphic is your watermark and subscriber link. If you’re not a Photoshop pro, a great resource to use is Canva.com which has plenty of free or next to free templates to choose from.
