Strategic Marketing Services Launches Small Business Marketing Resource

Back in late January, we announced that we would be launching an online marketing resource center in upcoming months. Well, the time is here! We’ve just officially launched our Small Business Marketing Resources page, featuring how-to videos, free guides and checklists. It’s still in its infancy but hey, we all have to start somewhere, right?

Why we decided to create an online marketing resource just for small businesses

There is no shortage of online marketing blogs, free templates, checklists and guides, so why did we decide to throw our hat into the mix? Because while there are many solid resources out there, many are not designed with the small business owner in mind. You know who you are! You’re the person who’s wearing all or most of the hats in your business. You’re the salesperson, the accountant, the marketing manager and the operations manager all rolled up into one. You know you need to market your business to help it grow, but watching a 10-minute video on how to optimize your YouTube channel or reading a 25-page free guide on email marketing is just not going to happen in your already overloaded schedule. We understand; we’re small business owners too! With that in mind, we are creating a collection of SHORT (seriously, like a minute or less) how-to videos, starting with, well, video marketing. Got a minute? Then we have a video for you. Or how about an easy, straightforward checklist on the basics of email marketing? Yeah, we got that.

We kept the marketing resource library simple to make it easy to use

When you go to our Resources page, you’ll notice something right away: no sales pitch. No request to give us your name, email, phone number, company name, etc. We believe in straightforward content that is helpful. Find a topic, watch the video or download the PDF, and be on your way. If you can use our resource center to get done what you need done, awesome! We’re here to help small business owners intelligently market their business. Simple as that. Will our videos win awards in cinematic excellence? Doubt it. Our free guides won’t win a Pulitzer prize for excellence in journalism either. But they WILL help you better market your business, and do so in an easy to understand fashion.

What’s getting added to the resource center next?

Good question! Well, for videos, we’re going to continue with our video marketing series, posting every couple of weeks. For free guides, keep your eyes open for a guide about LinkedIn. Checklists…..so many to choose from! We haven’t decided yet. We’re open to suggestions so if you’re looking for help with a certain area of marketing, send us a suggestion! This is brand new, so the sky’s the limit! Marketing is a dynamic, ongoing process, so we’ll continue to adjust, tweak and expand our resources to suit small business owners.
